Annamalai University has announced the counselling schedules for B.Sc. and BE streams.

Counselling for Agriculture (Self-Supporting) will take place from 8 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and for B.Sc. Horticulture from 9 a.m. on Friday.

Counselling for admission to B.E. all branches will be held on Saturday and Sunday. A press note said that the counselling schedule will be informed to the candidates through SMS. Eligible candidates can attend counselling by downloading the call letters from the university website www.annamalaiuniversity.ac.in.

Admission will be made only on the basis of merit by following rule of reservation of the government of Tamil Nadu. The merit list will be drawn based on the marks obtained by the candidates in relevant subjects in H.S.C./equivalent examinations.

Meanwhile, counselling for B.Sc. Agriculture was held on Monday in the Sastri Hall of Annamalai University.

Selected candidates received admission cards from K.A. Pandian, Member of Legislative Assembly, Chidambaram constituency, and Member Syndicate, Annamalai University; Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. S. Manian and N. Murugumaran, Member of Legislative Assembly, Kattumannarkoil constituency, on the first day of the counselling.
