Three persons were killed in a head-on collision involving a government bus and a car at Maruvai near Vadalur on Wednesday. The names of the dead were given as Selvamani (57), Murugan (48), and Oppilian (45) of Puducherry.
Police said the three were returning in a car from Kumbakonam to Puducherry when a government bus coming from Cuddalore rammed the car killing them on the spot. A case has been registered and further investigations are on
