After two women accused filmmaker Soumik Sen of sexual harassment last week, another actor has made an accusation against him anonymously. She tweeted on Friday that the director narrated “unnatural sex scenes” and read erotic poems to her between scenes on the sets of Cheat India .

The woman also accused the film’s producer and co-founder of Ellipsis Entertainment Atul Kasbekar of being complicit in the matter. “Atul, who was also a part of the discussion, chose to keep silent and took no action even when I displayed my discomfort,” she wrote.

While Mr. Sen has remained silent on the latest allegation, he tweeted on October 12, “There have been certain allegations leveled against me. If anyone has been hurt by any of my conversations in the past, I am sorry. It was never my intention to offend. I will be mindful of any future interactions.”

Cyber crime complaint

When contacted by The Hindu , Mr. Kasbekar pointed to the official statement tweeted by Ellipsis Entertainment. On a report by The Quint on the allegations, it says, “A website ran an allegation this morning based on an anonymous tweet from a newly created ID. As of this morning the Twitter handle had zero followers. We will soon file a complaint with the cyber crime cell to look into the matter.” The statement also said that producers have not received any complaint of inappropriate behaviour by Mr. Sen from any female member in the crew, during the shooting of Cheat India .

In another development, Iranian actor Elnaaz Norouzi accused filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah of sexual harassment in an interview with Mid-day . The report stated that he made sexual advances towards her while she was auditioning for his recently released film, Namaste England . Mr. Shah has not responded to messages sent by The Hindu .
