October 29, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 08:19 am IST - Mumbai:

Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, was again admitted to the government-run J.J.Hospital on Wednesday.

Earlier, she had been admitted to the hospital on October 2 after she collapsed in the prison, but was discharged a couple of days later.

Hospital Dean Dr T. P. Lahane said Indrani was brought to the hospital from Byculla women’s prison in the afternoon.

He, however, declined to comment on reports quoting the jail sources that Indrani was suffering from suspected dengue.

Earlier in the day, the prison authorities informed a magistrate’s court here that Indrani was suspected to have dengue.-PTI

“We have informed the court that Indrani is suffering from suspected dengue and her platelet count has gone down to 65,000,” a jail official said.-PTI
