Four youths, who recorded a video of them performing dangerous stunts on a moving train, were arrested by the Government Railway Police on Wednesday for stealing a man’s mobile phone.

The youths have been identified as Mohammad Sheikh, Rohit Chaurasia and Shehbaaz Khan, all residents of Kurla, and Mohammad Mumtaz, a resident of Mumbra.

The video, shot on a moving train between Chunnabhatti station and GTB Nagar station, shows the four youths hanging out of the train dangerously and attempting to climb to the roof of the train. According to the police, Mr. Sheikh snatched a mobile phone from a commuter standing on the platform, with the rest of the boys egging him on.

“The video was recorded by Mr. Mumtaz, while the rest were performing dangerous stunts in the background. We tracked them down using our sources and arrested all four in Kurla (East),” Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Railway, Samadhan Pawar said.
