Leader of the Opposition V.S. Achuthanandan and Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)] State unit president M.P. Veerendrakumar had a one-to-one meeting at the Government Guest House here on Sunday afternoon.
The meeting lasted 40 minutes.
However, neither of them divulged any details of the meeting.
Mr. Veerendrakumar, who termed it as a friendly meeting, said that Mr. Achuthanandan had wanted to call on him as he was not well for sometime now.
“Our conversation was confined to matters of health,” Mr. Veerendrakumar told mediapersons.
