Search is on for a youth, Prajeesh aka Unni, 30, who went missing in the Pottikkaipuzha river near Adivaram on Sunday. Around 200 persons attached to various departments, including the Mukkom police and fire station, and local residents are engaged in the search operations which ended on Monday evening. It will resume at 6 a.m on Tuesday.
Prajeesh, a resident of Chelari in Kozhikode, had gone to bathe in the river. He might have possibly been pulled into the deeper waters by the current, officials said.
