School bus vandalism: police probe on

October 27, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 09:18 am IST - Kozhikode:

The Vadakara police are probing an incident in which a school bus of Memunda government higher secondary school was vandalised by miscreants at the school premises on Sunday.

According to the police, the bus was attacked by a group who opposed the school principal for his association with CPI(M) campaigns in the region. His house also had been attacked by another gang on Saturday, the police said.

“We have gathered evidence from the two spots,” said a Civil Police Officer attached to the Vadakara station. “Two separate cases have been registered on the basis of the complaint filed by the school management and the investigation is in progress,” he said.
