Meritorious student felicitated

Therese Joseph, who secured cent per cent marks (1200 marks) in her Plus Two examination, was felicitated by Awass ,  a socio-cultural organisation based at Thiruvambadi in Kozhikode, during a function at her residence at Pullurampara here on Sunday. Therese is also an athlete and had bagged two gold medals and a silver in the National School Athletics Meet held in Ranchi last year. The organisation presented her a memento. District panchayat member V.D. Joseph inaugurated the function. Awass chairman Sundaran A. Pranavam presided over. Kodencheri panchayat vice president Annakkutty Devasya and Awass member M.G.S. Mani, among others, spoke. Therese was a student of St. Joephs’ Higher Secondary School, Pullurampara.
