Let the probe continue: Antony

October 31, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:46 am IST - Kozhikode:

Former Defence Minister A.K. Antony has said that the ruling United Democratic Front (UDF) will collectively take a decision on the issue of resignation of Finance Minister K.M. Mani in the wake of the Vigilance court order.

At a Meet-the-Press here on Fridayhe said that resigning from the Cabinet following a court order had nothing to do with politics. “Morality is purely personal. Let the probe continue. I will speak then,” Mr. Antony said in reply to a question whether Mr. Mani should step down on moral grounds.

He says UDF will unanimously take a decision on Mani’s resignation at an appropriate time.
