Handicrafts training for students, women

The Union Ministry of Textiles in association with the Kerala State Hanidcrafts Apex Cooperative Society is organising a training programme in various handicrafts for students and women from October 31 to November 11 as part of the ongoing All India Crafts Fair at CSI Hall in Kozhikode. Those selected from the sessions will undergo intensive training at the State government’s Craft Development Centre in Ernakulam.

The handicrafts made by these artisans will be brought to the market through Surabhi emporiums all over the State, a press release said.
