Silayil theertha smarakangal , an anthology of articles about the life and literary career of writer Punathil Kunjabdulla, has been chosen for this year’s V.T. Kumaran Memorial Award instituted by the V.T. Kumaran Foundation. T. Rajan, secretary of the foundation, told the media here on Tuesday that A.K. Abdul Hakkeem, who edited the book, would be presented the award carrying a purse of ₹20,000 and a citation, by writer T. Padmanabhan, on October 11. The book has around 50 articles.
