The Hindu will conduct its second edition of World of Women, an awards ceremony that will recognise and honour women who have excelled in their respective fields, on March 22 at 6.30 p.m.
Women who have made giant leaps in their specific areas of expertise would be celebrated at the event to be held at Lady Andal auditorium in the city.
Awards would be presented under various categories: Lifetime Achievement Award, Academics, Agriculture and Rural Development, Entertainment, Arts and Culture, Entrepreneurship, Business Leadership, Contributions to the Society, Health Care, Surpassing Disability and Sports.
Nippon Paints is the title sponsor.
