As many as 35 children with varied learning needs got an opportunity to display their learning in fine motor skills on Saturday.

The exposition, titled “Concepts for life”, marked the culmination of an 11-month-long training programme organised by the Maghil Learning Centre of the Maghil Maran Foundation, a 12-year-old Chennai-based organisation.

According to the foundation’s founder, R.V. Giridhar, the training programme, covering perception and association, imparted skills in mathematics and language. To enable the children to lead their lives independently, cooking and washing of clothes were taught.
