Traffic change on OMR for Olympic Awareness Run

According to an official press release, no vehicles will be allowed on Rajiv Gandhi Salai from Tidal Park up to Madhya Kailash. There will be no change in traffic flow from Madhya Kailash towards Tidel Park.

In order to facilitate the Olympic Awareness Run scheduled to be held on Sunday at Rajiv Gandhi Salai from Madhya Kailash junction to Tidal Park, Chennai Traffic Police has announced diversions in the area from 6 a.m. until commencement of the event.

According to an official press release, no vehicles will be allowed on Rajiv Gandhi Salai from Tidal Park up to Madhya Kailash. There will be no change in traffic flow from Madhya Kailash towards Tidel Park.

Motorists will not be allowed from Thiruvanmiyur junction towards Tidel Park. Vehicle coming on Rajiv Gandhi Salai bound for Madhya Kailash junction will be diverted at Tidal park junction towards Thiruvanmiyur via West Avenue, L.B. Road and Sardar Patel Road to reach Madhya Kailash junction.

Vehicles coming from Thiruvalluvar Salai or Thiruvanmiyur junction bound for Madhya Kailash junction via Rajiv Gandhi Salai will be diverted at Thiruvanmiyur junction towards L.B. Road and take route via. L.B. Road - Sardar Patel Road to reach Madhya Kailash junction.

Motorists coming from Thiruvalluvar Salai bound for SRP Tools junction via Rajiv Gandhi Salai will be diverted at Thiruvanmiyur junction towards L.B. Road and should take L.B. Road and Kamarajar Avenue to reach SRP Tools junction, the release said.
