Social worker M.S. Sivakumar’s body was donated to Madras Medical College on Thursday by his family.

Mr. Sivakumar had been seriously injured in a road accident on Tuesday and died at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital on Wednesday. According to his wife Rathi, who arrived from Kerala on Thursday, he had expressed desire to donate his body to the medical college.

Dean V. Kanagasabai said, “We have taken possession of the body. Since he has done so many people a good deed, we decided to honour the family’s wish.”
