The Ambassador of the Royal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to India, Saud Mohammed al-Sati, called on the Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, at Amir Mahal on Thursday, according to a press release.
Mr. Al-Sati spoke of the good bilateral relations existing between Saudi Arabia and India for many years, the release said.
The Nawab said that he admired King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud’s plan to have a complex in Madinah on the Prophet’s Hadith (authentic sayings), which would help Islamic scholars from around the world read the contents of the Hadith.
Former governor of Odisha M.M. Rajendran, former governor of West Bengal Gopala Krishna Gandhi and chief Qazi to the Government of Tamil Nadu Mufti Salahuddin Mohammed Ayub were present.
