A history-sheeter was hacked to death by a gang in Nallur village near Red Hills and his body was found 10m away from his house.
According to the police Aruldoss alias Doss, 27, has two murder cases against him besides a few more criminal cases in Kodungaiyur and Raja Mangalam police stations. Police said an unidentified person knocked on the door when Doss was sleeping in the house at V.P. Singh Street.
An armed gang, waiting outside, hacked him to death. Following an alert from neighbours, Sholavaram police recovered his body and sent it for post-mortem to the Government Hospital, Tiruvallur. Further investigation is on.
