Nearly 1.75 lakh employees of the State Transport Corporations (STC) and the Civil Supplies Corporation have been granted performance incentive.
While around 1.37-lakh strong labour force of the STCs would get the incentive ranging from Rs. 85 to Rs. 625 depending upon their number of days of service during 2014, the Civil Supplies Corporation’s workers belonging to ‘C’ and ‘D’ classes would be given Rs. 350 each. The move would cost totally Rs. 9.1 crore to the two bodies.
Besides, 5,543 employees of ‘Aavin’ and 17 District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Unions would get the incentive ranging from Rs. 145 to Rs. 1,000, a government order said.
