The city police conducted search operations at specific locations in T.P. Chathram to nab peddlers.
Following a tip-off, the T.P. Chathram police swung into action on Friday and a special team spotted nine persons packing ganja in small packets on the terrace of a TNSCB building. They were rounded up by the police and over 1 kg ganja was recovered from them. Following interrogation, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kilpauk, K. Jagadeesh led another search operation on Saturday at five places.
