Library block inaugurated

A new library block was inaugurated on Wednesday at the MEASI Academy of Architecture on New College campus in Royapettah by the Consul General of the United States of America in South India, Robert G. Burgess, in the presence of Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, Prince of Arcot.

Mr. Burgess said that the U.S. welcomed students to pursue higher education, attend exchange programmes and scholarships. The Prince of Arcot urged Mr. Burgess to help MEASI expand their American academic contact. T. Rafeeq Ahmed, honorary secretary, participated.
