The Indian Institute of Technology - Madras (IIT-M) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Continental, for a joint research in high computing platforms and cyber security for powertrain applications.
The research team will focus on intrusion detection and reporting on powertrain applications. Ravindra Gettu, Dean (Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research), IIT Madras, said that this was the second MoU signed this year. Soorajith Radhakrishan, head of Continental’s Powertrain business in India, said, “Powertrain cybersecurity is still at its infancy and this is an important topic to address right now.”
