The Madras West Round Table 10 (MWRT10) will organise its annual fund-raising golf tournament on February 16 at TNGF cosmos golf course in the city.
The tournament was earlier called as Merchants cup and also Valentine’s cup as it was organised around Valentine’s day. The Hindu is the official media partner for the event. The funds raised through the event would be used to construct a 20-bed dialysis centre along with Rotary Club of Chennai Capital and Sathyalok Foundation. The event would be held from 6 a.m. onwards and it would be followed by an awards night at Hotel Leela Palace in the evening.
Top golfers in the city will participate in the event. “We hope that this year would raise the bar compared to previous editions to raise funds for the dialysis centre,” said Vikash Nahar, Chairman, MWRT10.
MWRT10 is a 51-year-old non profit organisation, which is part of Round Table India and Round Table International, has been dedicated towards supporting education of the underprivileged children.
