The Directorate of Government Examinations has extended the deadline for Class X students in the three districts of Thoothukudi, Kanniyakumari and Tirunelveli to apply for revaluation.
According to a release from the department, since the government has prevented the assembly of groups of people and has suspended internet service in the three affected districts, the students would be permitted three days from the day the internet service is restored to apply for re-totalling/revaluation.
The results of the Class X public examination were released on Wednesday and the department had given candidates time from Thursday to Saturday to apply for re-totalling through their respective schools or the exam centre for private candidates.
