Civil supplies grievance meetings on Saturday

The civil supplies and consumer protection department will conduct grievance meetings at 16 locations in and around Chennai from 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The meeting will redress residents’ complaints with regard to new family cards, changes in family cards, deficiencies in the functioning of fair price shops, PDS commodities supplied, unfair trade practices and deficiencies in goods sold by the private sector.

Chennai North

Meetings will be held at: Muthial Pettai Boys High School, 167/87, Thambu Chetty Street, Mannady; (family cardholders/applicants under the Chidambaranar Assistant Commissioner’s office); Chennai Middle School, Cornation Nagar, Erukkanchery Road, Korukkupet; (Royapuram AC’s office), Chennai Primary School, VOC Play Ground; 143, New Barracks Road; (Perambur AC’s office); Kamaraj Matric School, 66/162, NMK Street, Ayanpuram; (Anna Nagar AC’s office); Villivakkam Panchayat Middle School, 4th Block MMDA Colony, Maduravoyal; (Ambattur AC’s office); Chennai Primary School, Sreenivasa Nagar, 3rd Street, Kolathur; (Villivakkam AC’s office); Community Hall, Tsunami Kudiyirupu, Ernavur (Tiruvottiyur AC’s office); and Avadi Municipality Primary School, Thirumullaivoyal, (Avadi AC’s office).

Chennai South

Meetings will be held at: Adi Dravidar Middle School, Arcot Road, Valasaravakkam; (T.Nagar AC’s office); Chennai High School, 76, Kamarajar Avenue, Adyar; (Mylapore AC’s office); St. Thomas Mount Panchayat Middle School, Natarajan Street, Moongil Lake, Pammal; (St.Thomas Mount AC’s office); Peerkankaranai Town Panchayat office; (Tambaram AC’s office); Chennai Corporation Hall, Gangai Amman Koil Street, Jafferkhanpet; (Saidapet AC’s office); St. Francis Xavier Middle School, TTK Road, Alwarpet; (Thousand Lights AC’s office); Chennai Primary School, Nagappan Street, Pudupet (Chepauk AC’s office); and Government High School, Kandanchavady. (Sholinganallur AC’s office).
