Chennai Metro’s educational trips a hit among students

Chennai Metro Rail Limited in an attempt (CMRL) to create awareness among students of government and government-aided schools about the concept of mass urban transportation across the city has been providing educational trips.

The CMRLorganises trips from Central Metro to St. Thomas Mount and Airport via Koyambedu and Washermenpet to Airport via AG-DMS for students.

Under this educational trip programme, a total of 6,641 students participated during September and October this year. During the 2018-19 academic year, a total of 31,178 students from 60 schools travelled in the Metro.
