As part of the Sundaram Finance Mylapore Festival, 2013, a Madhubani art workshop will be held on January 12 at Nageswara Rao Park between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
The workshop will teach children how to do Madhubani painting on a wall hanging.
The workshop is open to children in the age group of eight to 13 years and will be restricted to 40 children. For registration, call 94450 34485.
Bandhini
Another workshop on tie and dye will be held on January 13 at the same venue.
Children will be taught the technique on a fashionable head accessory called bandana. The Bandhini workshop is open for children in the age group of eight to 13 years and will be restricted to 30 participants. For registration, call 94457 98795.
