Actors express shock over Lankan blasts

Radikaa Sarathkumar says she had narrow escape

Several members of the Tamil film fraternity expressed shock at the bomb blasts in Sri Lanka which resulted in several casualities on Sunday. Actress Radikaa Sarathkumar, who was in Sri Lanka, tweeted: “I just left Colombo Cinnamon grand hotel and it has been bombed, can’t believe this shocking.”

Actor and MNM president Kamal Haasan tweeted and said: “Ironic that the island that spawned the word serendipity is not able to find it. My deepest sympathies to those affected by the bombs in Sri Lanka. The government should be impartial and swift in rendering Justice.”

Actor Rajinikanth, in a tweet, also expressed his shock at the terror attacks.

Actors Siddharth, Jayam Ravi, Vivekh and Tamannaah were among the others who tweeted and said they were in solidarity with Sri Lanka.
