Vice-President to visit Chennai tomorrow

He will release the English rendering of the works of Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi

The Vice-President, Hamid Ansari, will pay a two-day visit to the city from May 31. According to the tour programme, he will leave Delhi by an IAF special aircraft at 10 a.m. on May 31 and reach Chennai at 12.40 p.m.

Later, he will go to the Raj Bhavan. He will release the English rendering of the works of Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi at the University Centenary Auditorium at 4.30 p.m. He will stay at Raj Bhavan for the night.

The next day, he would interact with students of B.S.Abdur Rahman University at Vandalur at 10 a.m. The Vice-President would leave for Delhi at 11.30 a.m., according to an official press release.
