SASTRA wins moot court competition

SASTRA University Law School has won the moot court competition for the second consecutive year. In the closely contested finals held at the Madras High Court auditorium, the School of Excellence in Law, Chennai, finished as runner-up.

The winning team was represented by fourth year students K. Shiva, K. Shwetha and Surya Teja. The winning team was presented the rolling trophy, shield and ₹75,000. One student won the best researcher award. The team won the best memorial award carrying cash ₹30,000, according to a release from the university.
