One more arrested for advocate’s murder

Police on Monday arrested one more person in connection with the murder of an advocate outside the Egmore Metropolitan Magistrate Court complex on Saturday morning.

“On Monday, we arrested Naresh Kumar in Egmore. We are still hunting for others involved in the case,” said a senior police officer. He is the fifth person to be arrested in connection with the case. The victim, Stalin Karmen (38), a practising lawyer in Egmore, was attacked as victory celebrations following the Bar Council election turned violent.
