A woman, her 19-year-old daughter and their pet dog fell from a two-wheeler and suffered injuries after two men on a motorcycle snatched her gold chain in Vyasarpadi on Sunday.
According to the police, Ramani of Vyasarpadi was riding the two-wheeler and her daughter was riding pillion along with their pet dog. They were on their way to the house of a relative in Choolai.
When they were near Ambedkar College in Vyasarpadi, two men riding a motorcycle snatched Ms. Ramani’s chain and sped away. She lost her balance and all three fell on the road. Ms. Ramani and her daughter were injured and passersby alerted the police control room.
Personnel from the MKB Nagar police station rushed to the spot.
