2 more held for Metro job racket

Several aspirants had made payments on fake website

Two more suspects were arrested by the Central Crime Branch of the city police on Monday for creating a website resembling that of the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) and posting a fake recruitment advertisement.

The CCB last week arrested S. Srijith, 34, a native of Malappuram, Kerala, the kingpin. A few months ago, an advertisement in the name of CMRL went viral on social media. Several people made online payments. Subsequently, the CMRL’s general manager lodged a complaint with Chennai police.
