Woman harassed on way home

The Yelahanka New Town police are on the lookout for an unidentified man who allegedly misbehaved with a 21-year-old woman while she was returning home on Wednesday.

The incident happened around 10.15 p.m. near the Self Financed Society (SFS) 208 Colony, the police said, adding that the man allegedly tried to disrobe her. The victim raised the alarm following which the accused fled from the scene. The police have registered a sexual harassment case under IPC section 354(B): assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to disrobe.
