If you want to travel to Vietnam, you need not fuss over your visa any more. VFS Global, an outsourcing firm for diplomatic missions, launched a visa application centre for Vietnam in Shivajinagar on Monday.

Tran Quang Tuyen, Minister – deputy Chief of Mission, embassy of the SR of Vietnam, launched the centre. He said that around 55,000 Indians visited Vietnam in 2014 and the number is growing. “However, Indians comprise a miniscule population of the total tourists visiting Vietnam every year. We are working towards increasing that. We are in talks with Jet Airways for a direct flight from Bengaluru to Vietnam, which we hope would become a reality by next year,” he said.
