Prompt action by a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) of South Western Railway helped a passenger get back the jewellery left behind in a train.

According to a South Western Railway release, Sneha Hegde and Paramesh had travelled in the Talaguppa – Mysuru Express on May 13. They had left their bag, containing gold jewellery, in the train.

On realising that they left the bag, they approached the railway announcement staff who alerted TTE Premchand, who was on board the train. Mr. Premchand searched and found the bag, which contained a gold chain and two ear rings, in a cabin of the 1AC coach. The bag was handed over to the passengers by N.S. Sridharamurthy, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Bengaluru division, on Monday.
