313 cases solved in 5 months, 244 arrested

The Southeast division police in Bengaluru have solved 313 cases in the last five months and recovered Rs. 7.29 crore worth of stolen valuables from the 244 persons involved in various criminal activities.

According to the police the recovered valuables included 19 cars, 115 two wheelers, 125 mobile phones, 45 laptops, 45 kilograms of red sanders and three elephant tusks.

Also, with the arrest of these 244 accused criminals, the police have solved four murder cases, 55 robberies, 150 house-break thefts and 104 vehicle theft cases reported in the Southeast Division.
