After finding security lapses in the school in Marathahalli where a six-year-old girl was raped, the police issued a separate set of guidelines to the management in addition to the 11 for all schools in the city.

It has been asked to deploy at least 66 personnel and four supervisors to ensure round-the-clock security.

There should be at least 10 security guards in the night shift, Police Commissioner, M.N. Reddi said.

The supervisors should visit the school every two hour and file a report on the security situation, he said.
