Seminar on writer Nirupama

A seminar on the works of popular woman writer late Nirupama will be held on Thursday at the Vijaya College, Jayanagar 4th Block. Organised by the Karnataka Lekhakhiyara Sangha jointly with Vijaya College, the seminar will be inaugurated by the former Minister and writer Leeladevi R. Prasad and sangha chairperson Vasundhara Bhoopati will preside. The event will see talks by speakers Y.K. Sandhya Sharma, Shaila Nagaraj and G.V. Nirmala on the contribution of Nirupama to drama, feminist thinking and children’s literature. The programme will begin at 10 a.m. with the screening of a documentary on Nirupama.
