The ongoing torrential rainfall and the resulting floods in Tamil Nadu have caught the attention of several members of the Full Gospel Assemblies of God Church in Indiranagar.
They came out in large numbers on Sunday to donate food, blankets, vessels and other materials for those affected in the neighbouring State. Under the theme ‘Love Tamil Nadu’, the church raised two truck-loads of rice bags, vessels, nylon mats and other essential commodities that will leave for the State on Monday.
“The material is for the worst rain-battered districts such as Thiruvallur, Cuddalore, Kancheepuram, and Tambaram in Chennai,” said Reverend Paul Thangiah, Pastor of the church.
