Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Commissioner Siddaiah has set a deadline of December 2011 to prepare the history of all arterial and sub-arterial roads in the city.

His directions to the executive engineers came on Saturday while he was inspecting the roads in the Rajarajeshwarinagar division. Criticising the engineers for not presenting the proper history of the road that must records repairs, date of asphalting and so on, he asked the officials to computerise the data so that the records could be made available to the public.

He also visited Kenchenahalli lake and directed the joint commissioner to prepare a detailed project report to rejuvenate the water body.
