PU revaluation: students fret as results in limbo

Scores of students of second pre-university gathered outside the Department of Pre-University Education (DPUE) on Monday to express their anger and frustration as the department still has not announced their re-evaluation results.

Many students expressed anxiety as the supplementary exams begin on June 25.

A press release by the Karnataka Examinations Authority said that so far 36,184 scripts have been re-evaluated and the remaining results would be completed by Tuesday.

As many as 2.04 lakh students will write supplementary examinations that will begin on June 25.

The release also said that arrangements have been made to ensure that hall tickets would be made available to students by June 24.
