Residents of Radhakrishna Temple ward, near M.S. Ramaiah Hospital, are finding themselves facing off with a pack of stray dogs that is “terrorising them”.

At least four passers-by claimed to have been attacked without an provocation over the last few days. Though residents have made several complaints to the BBMP councillor concerned, they say no action had been taken so far.

CCTV footage of a woman being attacked by dogs began circulating in the media on Tuesday. One of the dogs bit her in the leg, and she was taken to hospital and administered primary medication. A few minutes later, the dogs attacked a man, who managed to escape unscathed. Councillor M. Anand said he was not aware of the problem . “I have not received any complaint, but I will look into the issue,” he said.

Mayor G. Padmavathi said action would be taken to resolve the situation.
