A 21-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging in her room in Subramanya Nagar on Sunday evening. The deceased, Pasca Divya, a native of Kollegal, was a nurse in a hospital in Malleswaram and resided in a room provided by the hospital authorities.

According to the police, Divya was sharing the room with four other colleagues. On Sunday afternoon while the others went to work, she stayed back.
