NEET not mandatory for yoga and naturopathy courses

March 25, 2019 09:14 pm | Updated 09:14 pm IST

The Ministry Health and Family Welfare, which made National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) mandatory for AYUSH courses, has relaxed the rule for yoga and naturopathy courses for the 2019-20 academic year

Candidates aspiring for yoga and naturopathy courses will have to write the Common Entrance Test conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority. The last day to submit the online application is Wednesday.

Sources said that this was done as a large number of yoga and naturopathy seats were vacant in the 2018-2019 academic year after NEET was made mandatory.
