1) Different websites, different results. Why?
Minister: One private website altered the code we gave and put up the results, causing a problem across the State. The mistake is of the private party. “We have filed a complaint with the Malleswaram police against HT Media, Bengaluru for entering wrong codes of English and French subjects.”
2) We were not given the grace marks promised in two subjects (9 in maths, 5 in English)
Minister: Grace marks have been given to only those who had attempted the wrong question. Although there is a demand for grace marks even from those who have not attempted the question, we cannot do that.
3) Our results are being withheld for no reason
Minister: Some students have failed although their overall marks are above the pass percentage. This is because they should have compulsorily scored a minimum of 21 marks in theory even if they had scored high marks in practicals. In some other cases, students have entered the wrong roll numbers.
4) We were marked absent even though we were present
Minister: The optional was conveyed wrong to the department. In other cases, it could have been the oversight of the invigilator who may have gone by the roll number written on the table. So, if a Kannada language student sat on a table occupied by a Sanskrit student earlier, it could have caused confusion.
