On Sunday, a group of employees from reputed companies got together and put their best foot forward to the kick the football.

The game called FootCause — Your team, a Child's dream was organised by Make A Difference (MAD), an NGO that works with children at risk.

Fourteen teams from various companies participated in a five on five football tournament and the proceeds of the event would be used for some of the projects taken up by the NGO, a press release said.

KPMG beat Mu Sigma 4-3 in the finals to win the tournament.

MAD said the winners took home Rs. 12,000 and the trophy. “Make A Difference could raise close to Rs. 1 lakh from this event. MAD-Bangalore Chapter, which supports children across five centres — Ashadeep, Samarthanam, St. Patrick’s, St.Mary’s and Angels — in Bangalore will be able to support education of close to 300 children for a month,” the release said.
