Creating awareness about Aadhaar among students

Catch them young. This seems to be the latest mantra of the government as students will now be made aware of the Unique Identification Authority of India’s Aadhaar project.

In order to create awareness about the project, the Department of Public Instruction is conducting an essay writing and drawing competition for schoolchildren on January 12.

The selected essay from each school should be sent to the district office by January 16.

The topics are — importance of Aadhaar among students; Aadhaar - a non controversial ID-card; services availed through Aadhaar; Aadhaar - the future of India, and Aadhaar - a magic wand for better administration.
