Courts will be closed on fourth Saturdays

All courts in the State, including the Karnataka High Court, will be closed on the fourth Saturday from this month as the High Court has adopted the State government’s notification declaring the fourth Saturday as a holiday for all government offices.

Separate notifications declaring the fourth Saturday as a holiday for the High Court and all the sub-ordinate courts until further orders were issued on July 2 based on a resolution passed by the High Court on June 27.

Advocates’ Association, Bengaluru had given a representation in this regard.
