Janata Dal (S) leader and former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on Monday sought a CBI probe into the Arkavathi Layout land denotification issue and demanded that Siddaramaiah step down as Chief Minister.

Addressing presspersons here, Mr. Kumaraswamy alleged that the government “was not cooperating” with the judicial commission set up to probe the issue by not submitting the required documents. “I have collected all the documents on this issue and I will submit it to the commission shortly,” he said.

Refuting the allegations and rejecting a CBI probe, Mr. Siddaramiaah said that the JD(S) could not dictate terms to him.
